Amy White is a motivated self-starter who uses her dynamic skill set to support, improve, and streamline operations in multiple industries. She started her career in administrative roles in financial departments, where she conducted research and supported managers in financial planning and projects. Inspired by this experience and her own interest in analyzing complex legal situations, she eventually became an internal revenue agent for a diverse client base of self-employed people and small businesses. For six years Amy honed her skills in standard account methods and techniques as she conducted examinations, and effectively communicated her results to clientele that ranged from sole traders to small business corporations.
Now, Amy utilizes her technical, managerial, and team-building knowledge as the Accountant for KFB Investments, Inc. and Ilona Lane Apartments, Inc. In addition to keeping and updating all records for both entities, Amy uses her administrative experience to simplify office operations and handle corporate correspondence. She also continues to educate herself in best business practices and networks with a large variety of contacts in the industry.
Education is key in Amy’s career. She has completed extensive job-related technical training, such as knowledge of all internal and federal tax reference publications, and she also continually educates herself in managerial and customer service techniques. She earned a B.B.A. in Management and a Bachelor of Accountancy from the University of Houston, and received her Paralegal Certificate from Rice University. She recently finished her MBA in Project Management at Saint Leo University.
Amy is community-oriented and volunteers for Code: Blue, a neighborhood crime patrol effort in Fort Worth, Texas. She also participates in the Code Compliance Department of Fort Worth, an organization that maintains and educates neighborhoods regarding property codes. She also actively volunteers to help the Military by being the Family Readiness Group (FRG) Leader.
